Debbie is a Newfoundlander who knows a thing or two about business. Debbie had a career that she was passionate about but had zero interest in becoming an entrepreneur. Then life happened. Her disability forced her to leave the military. Eventually, she ended up at university; like many from the blue collar world, she thought that an education would open doors. It did not work out that way.
Those days were dark – tough to handle. Coming from a family of hard workers (they didn’t like to sit around and do nothing all day) made being unemployed all that more unbearable. When someone mentioned, “Debbie would make a great business person.”
“Who me? You’ve got to be kidding,” was her first reaction.
From deciding what to sell, to following the money, there was much learning along the way in a short span of time. Making mistakes along the way was part of it – including spending 16K on a useless business plan all because she wasn’t wise enough to know to know the difference.
The real “AHA!” moment came when she discovered that there’s a real science to “making money as your own boss”. It’s not quite as easy as setting up a lemonade stand.
Debbie made a conscious decision: she felt the need to help other entrepreneurs experiencing similar roadblocks.
Now she runs a tax company which is a seasonal biz. During the rest of the year she shares lessons on how she has learned through the school of hard knocks; teaching people like YOU how to love making money.
When it comes down to the nuts and bolts of it, Debbie is a mechanic who has been to law school. She’s gone from being a breath away from living on social assistance to finding joy in life again. An accomplished author, she loves to teach money mindset, business strategy and the law of attraction.
If you’re an entrepreneur who is looking to fast track profitability, Debbie is your gal.
